National H.O.G. Rally 2019 – Walcha Launch

The worst kept secret in Walcha is about to go national with the official media launch of the Freak Show Festival of Motorcycles.

Come along to the Walcha Royal @ 10:15am on Friday, March 1 (TV cameras roll at 10:30). Bring your motorcycle, if you’ve got one, and your enthusiasm for what will surely become a marquee event on the NSW calendar.

The NSW Minister for Tourism Adam Marshall will be on hand, along with Member for Tamworth Kevin Anderson.

Come and have a coffee on us at the Walcha Royal Cafe. This is a great opportunity to put Walcha on the national stage.

Everyone’s welcome!

About Us

Built in 1889 as the Royal Hotel, this magnificent building was gutted by fire on the 28th August 1938. Later on that year the building was rebuilt and named the New Royal Hotel. The current owners, Brad Keable and Toni Heaney purchased the property in December 2006 and converted the hotel to a hip 60’s style café and accommodation country establishment.

The Café

Dine either inside the chic café, on the veranda deck or alfresco under the magnificent willow tree surrounded by garden and sculptures. If it is a quick caffeine hit you need, then the Royal also offers take away tea, coffee and delicious cakes, slices and biscuits.

The Café is open 7 days a week, 7am to 5pm. Private functions are also catered for by prior arrangement.
